Our Process

Whether you are renovating or require new cabinets, R & A Cabinets team are here to help you with a free in-home consultation or attendance at our well-appointed showroom. You will have your own designer overseeing your project from concept to completion.

Quote

The initial consultation will normally take place at your home or on site, with one of our designers.
During this time the area is measured, then we will discuss design options which will be tailored to suit your needs and preferences. Drafted drawings, plans and quotes we be sent to you.

Order

If you are happy to proceed with the quote, we will arrange a time with the designer who will be able to guide you through the process of selecting your finishes and fixtures. At that time, we can present you with a full set of plans including 3D views. We also arrange a deposit to proceed with the work.

Final Measure

We will book an appointment for a final measure on site to confirm measurements, finishes and hardware. We don’t commence your job until we know you are absolutely happy with everything.

Production

Once all plans, quote and specifications are signed off we put the job into production. At this stage your job is optimised, a cutting list is created and the materials for your job are ordered. At this time, we will email you, your schedule outlining the dates.

Delivery & Installation

Delivery will usually take place the day prior to installation. The area that your joinery is to be installed in will need to be clear of any obstacles.

Stone Tops & Glass Splashbacks

If you are having stone tops and glass splash backs, the process does lengthen. The stone people come to template after the joinery has been installed. They will return in approx. 10 business days later to install the stone tops. Then you would arrange the trade’s people to come in and re-connect all of your appliances. If you are having glass splash backs, these are measured once the stone is in. And they will return within 10 to 12 business days to install the splash backs.
